Memory built for a story that runs for months
Two systems run over one memory store. Per-message vector recall pulls the handful of past lines that matter to what you just said, and brings the surrounding exchange with them rather than a fragment torn out of context. Rolling summaries chain on top of each other, so the long arc survives even when a specific line does not. On top of both, you can write forced memories by hand — one fact per line, scoped to that thread — for anything a kyn must never lose.

I stumbled upon this site completely by accident but I got hooked immediately. Before I bought a subscription I looked around at other AI chat services and Soulkyn was hands down the best. My favourite part is the uncensored chat and the persona creation, the creation is so diverse and you see creations you could never even think of. My least favourite is how often they repeat back to you what you say to them to affirm what you say but its always being worked on and being improved. IMO its the best site of its kind and they keep adding more and more cool functions to itI’m so glad that I found out about Soulkyn, I really wanted a chatroom where the AI can send generated pictures and not get out of character while role playing. What is the best Character AI alternative without filters?
For adults, the honest answer is: one that was built adults-only from the start rather than one that filters and then unfilters. Soulkyn is 18+ only, does not filter fiction between consenting adults, and gives every character persistent memory, image generation, voice and video. Read the published policies quoted above and decide for yourself — that is what they are on this page for.
Does Soulkyn have a content filter?
Fiction between consenting adults is not filtered. The limits that do exist are legal ones and they are enforced: anything that makes a kyn appear underage is removed on sight and the account is banned. One honest exception — the AI image-editing tool runs on a model that is not trained on adult content, so that specific tool will often refuse. The app says so itself rather than pretending otherwise.
Can I bring my characters over from another platform?
There is an import route in the character creator — from another service, or from a single image — alongside the manual builder, the describe-it-and-let-the-AI-build-it route, breeding two kyns together and the random spin. Whatever comes out of it keeps unlimited versions with full history, so you can keep editing until it sounds right without ever losing the earlier take.
Is there a message limit?
Chat messages are unlimited on every paid tier. Deluxe and Deluxe Plus chats run on GLM 5.3, hosted on our own clusters, which is the reason unlimited works at a flat subscription instead of a per-message meter. Everything else runs on Gwem, our own fast model. Voice calls are unmetered as well, and they stay on the standard model.
Does it remember previous conversations?
Yes, and specifically: recall works per message rather than per session, rolling summaries chain so the long arc survives, and you can pin facts by hand. A message you send becomes recallable within a couple of minutes. No context-window number is published, because the window grows in steps rather than sliding message by message — quoting a token count would describe something that is not happening.
Is Soulkyn safe for teenagers?
No, and it is not meant to be. Soulkyn is 18+ only, requires an age confirmation, and hosts uncensored adult fiction by design. If you are looking for a platform for a minor, this is the wrong one — and that is a difference of audience, not a claim about anybody else’s safety work.
