A kyn is not only a personality
Once the personality is written, the interesting part starts. These four are live in the app today and none of them appeared on this page before.
Unlimited versions, full history
Edit a kyn as often as you like: every version is kept, with its full history. A chat thread is pinned to a specific version and can be moved to another one, so rewriting a personality never silently rewrites the conversation you already had.
Kyns that are whole worlds
A kyn does not have to be a person. Some of the most played creations on Soulkyn are interactive worlds with their own NPCs, stats and commands — RPG kyns with hundreds of thousands of messages behind them, all built in natural language with no code anywhere.
More than one character in one kyn
A kyn can hold several characters as a single entity — a duo, a trio, a whole household — badged as multiple and answering as the group they are.
Behavioural mods and world files
Soulkyn has a modding layer that most companion platforms simply do not: .dll personas are behavioural mods you can attach to any kyn, and .wrl files are world files. Both are first-class citizens in a thread's context, alongside the kyns themselves.
