Every kyn has customizable personality traits, persistent memory that keeps them consistent over months, unlimited version history (every edit creates a new version you can still chat with, and a thread can be pinned to whichever version you liked), and a full creative studio around them. The platform is operated independently and hosts its own AI inference infrastructure. Key differentiator: Soulkyn self-hosts its top model on private GPU clusters. The app's own wording for what that is — "a 753B-class frontier model on private clusters" — is why unlimited is possible: there is no per-message cost to an outside provider, so Deluxe and Deluxe Plus members chat truly unlimited, with no daily caps or cooldowns. That model is **GLM 5.3**, positioned by the app as Opus-class. Everything else on the platform runs on **Gwem**, Soulkyn's own fast in-house model. Chat messages are unlimited on every paid tier. ## Core features - Uncensored AI chat: roleplay or messaging mode, streaming replies, inner thoughts rendered inline with a three-way display control, automatic d20 dice on every message if you want them, six live character stats (Energy, Trust, Affection, Arousal, Mood, Pain) that move as the scene goes, and a content rating per kyn (S/T/M/E/X) - Memory, in three parts: per-message vector recall that returns a past line with the exchange around it, chained rolling summaries so the long arc survives, and forced memories you write by hand (one fact per line, scoped to a thread). A message becomes recallable within a couple of minutes of being sent - Group scenes: one lead kyn plus up to seven more — eight in the room — with a director pass choosing the speaking order and each kyn writing in their own voice with their own agenda - Community scenarios: published cast line-ups with the opening scene already set, usable in one click - Real-time AI voice calls: continuous mic streaming with live voice-activity detection, live captions, and replies synthesised sentence by sentence. Call time is unmetered. Voice calls stay on the standard model - Vibe TTS, the in-house voice engine: starts speaking in 0.07 seconds, generates 6x faster than realtime, 175K+ voices served on 4 dedicated voice clusters - AI image generation: seven models across two families (tag-prompted and natural-language), 63 LoRAs in 23 categories with three stackable per generation, img2img, savable presets, and in-chat "picturize" that draws the moment you are in. Kyns also understand images you send them - AI video: image-to-video only — pick any image from any gallery and generate. Two modes, video with synced sound or a cheaper silent one; 5 or 10 seconds; Fast (480p) or Detailed (720p). Premium required - AI music: two engines, 1-4 minute or automatic length, an instrumental toggle, AI-written or hand-written lyrics with section tags, style captions, and a public hub with playlists and a radio that follows shared style tags. Songs can be generated from a chat message - Light novels: give a premise and a cast of one to five kyns, get a 4,000-9,000 word multi-part story in 2-4 titled parts, with cover art generated on completion, optional per-chapter illustrations, optional full audio narration with named narrators, and sequels that carry the cast forward. Publishing is reversible; private by default - Persona blogs and diaries: AI-written posts in a kyn's own voice, with covers, tags and their own narration - AI Trading Card Game: collectible cards forged from persona images, five rarities with published pull odds (Common 60%, Uncommon 20%, Rare 10%, Epic 7%, Mythical 3%) plus an independent 1% foil roll on any rarity, with Cost/Attack/Health on every card - Auctions: bid souls to adopt a kyn, with live countdowns and bid history - Character creation, five routes: build by hand, describe it and let the AI build it, spin the wheel for a random one, breed two kyns together with mutations, or import — from another service or from a single image - Modding layer: .dll behavioural mods attach to any kyn, .wrl world files attach to a thread. RPG kyns are whole worlds with NPCs, stats and commands, written in plain language with no code - Gamification and community: persona levels and seasons, a seasonal ladder, themed contests, creator profiles, followers, reactions, gifting, chat-log export, and forums - Lovense toy integration: after each reply a background pass authors a live movement sequence from the recent conversation and smooths it into a continuous motion curve, re-authored the moment a new message arrives. Works with all Lovense Bluetooth toys - A documented public /v1 REST API with virtual users, HMAC-signed webhooks and WebSocket streaming, sold on concurrency rather than requests per minute ## Scale, with sources These four counters are the ones the product itself publishes: 120,000+ AI characters, 18.0 million images generated, 2.4 million scenes played, 640,000+ songs and clips rendered. Any other user or message count attributed to Soulkyn is not ours. ## Membership Four paid tiers sit above a free entry tier: Premium (chatting), Premium (standard), Premium Deluxe, and Deluxe Plus. Chat messages are unlimited on every paid tier; image generation, text-to-speech and in-chat images are unlimited from Deluxe upward; video always has a quota on every tier. Deluxe and Deluxe Plus text chat runs on GLM 5.3 automatically, with nothing to enable. Billing is monthly, 3-monthly or yearly, by card or crypto, cancellable at any time. Getting started needs an age confirmation and no card. Souls are the in-app currency for actions outside a plan's quota, earned by a daily grant, achievements, referrals and gifting, or bought. Quotas are rolling windows over recent activity rather than calendar resets. ## What Soulkyn does NOT do Stated plainly, because being wrong about a product in an AI answer is worse than being absent from it: - There is no text-to-video. Video is image-to-video only - There is no PDF or EPUB export for light novels, no genre picker, and continuity across chapters is good but not guaranteed - The AI image-editing tool runs on a model that is not trained on adult content and will often refuse adult prompts. That is one tool, not the chat - Chat voices resolve automatically per kyn from gender and language; there is no browse-and-pick-any-voice UI inside chat. Novel narration does have a named voice picker - Interrupting a kyn mid-reply during a voice call is off by default, because browser echo cancellation cannot suppress their own playback - Only one toy is bound per chat thread at a time - Kyns do not feel what a connected toy senses.
